- Cultivating and sustaining an environment where faculty members and scientific personnel at the University can conduct investigations of superior quality supported by SSSIHL IIC – IPR Cell
- Establishing a research infrastructure encompassing laboratory facilities, equipment resources, technical and administrative personnel, and research staff.
- Facilitating researchers’ engagement with current and prospective funding entities to secure financial resources for their research and development endeavors.
- Identifying and fostering collaborative possibilities between SSSIHL researchers and their colleagues at external institutions.
- Ensuring SSSIHL IIC – IPR Cell investigators are strategically positioned to advance knowledge in emerging and innovative research domains within Science and Engineering.
- Developing and implementing mechanisms through which research conducted at the University can be utilized—when appropriate and feasible—to address societal and industrial challenges. This necessitates licensing frameworks, commercialization pathways, and efficient processes for industry-academia collaborations.
- Providing administrative assistance for research activities—including human resource administration, financial oversight, and procurement management
